Pool Cage and Lanai Cleaning in Fort Myers and Lee County

Screen enclosures, aluminum frames and lanai floors, cleaned without tearing a screen.

Signs it is time

What you are probably looking at

01

Black or green streaks on the top of the frame

02

Screens that look gray or hazy

03

A dark, slippery lanai floor

04

Cobwebs and debris collecting in the corners

The pool cage is the most Southwest Florida thing about a Southwest Florida house. It keeps the bugs and the leaves out, and it slowly collects a coat of mildew on the frame and a film on the screens that dims the whole lanai.

Screens tear under pressure, so cages get a soft wash: a cleaning solution on the frame and screens at low pressure, time to work, and a gentle rinse. The floor and pool deck are cleaned after, so the dirt from above does not land on a clean deck.

How we do it

  1. Step 1

    Protect

Furniture is moved or covered, the pool is protected from runoff, and plants inside and outside the cage are wet down.

  2. Step 2

    Frame and screens

The cleaning solution goes on at low pressure, top down, then a gentle rinse.

  3. Step 3

    Floor last

The lanai floor and pool deck are cleaned after the cage, so they finish clean.

What we clean

  • Aluminum frames and beams, top to bottom
  • Screen panels, cleaned at low pressure
  • Lanai floors and pool decks
  • Lanai ceilings and the house wall inside the cage
Pool cages are standard across Lee County. They take the full weight of the summer rains and the shade of the palms, which is why the tops of the frames turn black first.

How we protect your property

Screens and their spline tear or pop loose under pressure. Everything above the floor gets low pressure only, and we protect the pool from the runoff.

What we will tell you

Screens that are already brittle or torn can give way even at low pressure. We will point them out before we start.

FAQ

Pool Cage & Lanai questions

Will cleaning damage my pool screens?

We clean screens at low pressure, which is what keeps them intact. Screens that are already brittle or torn can still give way, and we will point those out first.

Is the solution safe for my pool?

We protect the pool from runoff while we work and rinse the area thoroughly. Tell us if your pool has anything that needs extra care.

How often should a pool cage be cleaned?

Most cages here do well with a cleaning every year or so. Heavily shaded cages can need it more often.
